IV Therapeutic Services
The experienced nurses and medical staff at each of our three facilities offer intravenous, or IV therapy for our residents. IV therapy services are provided to meet an individual resident’s needs and caretaking plan.
IV therapy can be used for a multitude of reasons, including pain management and hydration. IV therapy is also the fastest way to deliver medication to the body, and is used by a variety of patients when deemed necessary by our medical professionals.
Different IV Therapy Treatments
Residents can receive a variety of IV therapy treatments. Treatments differ based on the specific needs of the patient or resident.
IV Therapy can be administered for:
- Pain management
- Antibiotic therapy
- Partial or total parenteral Nutrition
- Hydrating fluids
- Preventing air from diluting medication as it enters the blood stream
Making Our Residents Feel at Ease
The thought of receiving IV therapy can be intimidating or unsettling at first, which is why our nursing and medical staff go above and beyond to make our patients feel calm and comfortable. We will explain the process if necessary, and we are happy to educate our patients and their loved ones about the therapy. The comfort and happiness of our residents is our highest priority, so our staff does everything we can to help our residents feel at ease.
